About Us
and about your case.
RockinRFdesigns started as a hobby playing with epoxy/resin and wood, it has since turned into a small business selling phone cases from coast to coast and even Hawaii. At some point I might branch out internationally. It has definitely been a lot of fun seeing people show interest in my products.
This is truly a small business consisting of my wife and I. We do it all from design to shipping.
A little about my cases. It is made of real wood with epoxy/resin that I have added color pigment to. These cases are 100% unique. The wood and epoxy have been cut into strips and hand sanded to a fine finish. The only step that is not completely done by hand is cutting the wood and epoxy slice to fit the back of the case. For that I use a Glowforge laser machine to help with accuracy. Once it has been cut to fit I use Odies Oil to give the epoxy a good shine, and to treat the wood. You can use any oil that works on wood to treat your case. I prefer Odies because it is a good oil for many materials.
